All the beading bits are similar to the round over router bits (see item C123), but a smaller bearing (D=9,5mm) produces a tiny inset at the base of the cut, as an extra decoration. For a beading profile simply change the bearing (Z050.002.N) on your round over bits (C123-series). In this way you will have a tiny inset at the base of 1,6 mm for all the profiles.
The high quality Klein router bits satisfy the most accurate applications required by the marketplace today. Moreover we always pay detail attention to the choice of raw material, producing router bits for top market performance, precision and cutting life.
They are used to cut a quarter-round shape bounded by fillets (also known as a bead), produced in one pass by this bit. The width is set by the ball bearing size, while the other is controlled by the depth of cut. Ideal for working on every kind of wood.
