These step boring bits for aluminum are manufactured in high speed steel to give a greater resistance to torsion and work with them on CNC too. Especially made both for drilling and routing. They have a double diameter to make drilling operations much easier on aluminum profiles and extrusions. It is very important to bore slowly in order to avoid any chipping. We suggest to set cutting speed based on the bigger diameter (D) and feed rate based on the smaller diameter (d). Right hand rotation.
